Amber’s journey to family law wasn’t a direct path. After earning her BA in Spanish Language from Whitman College, she continued her education at Colorado State University, obtaining an MA in Spanish Language and Literature. Her academic journey culminated with an MBA from the University of Colorado, providing her with a strong foundation in business that complements her experience working in law firms.
While Amber didn’t initially set out to work in law, fate intervened when she began helping at her father’s law firm. That unexpected opportunity launched a 25-year career in legal administration, eventually bringing her to Halligan LLC. Her personal experience with divorce 12 years ago gives her a unique perspective and genuine empathy for clients navigating similar challenges.
What drives Amber is her excitement to be part of a high-quality team that genuinely cares about its clients and is committed to providing excellent legal advice. “I am here to help Halligan LLC help their clients navigate a difficult time in their lives and to leave the process stronger and ready to embrace new beginnings,” she explains.

Beyond her professional life, Amber serves as treasurer for Scout Troop 342 and is an active member of Networking in Action.
